I am delighted to receive the Japanese translations of ‘The Jupiter Myth’ and ‘The Accusers’, the Spanish paperback of ‘The Jupiter Myth’ and ‘The Accusers’, the Italian ‘Poseidon’s Gold’ paperback and the Estonian ‘The Silver Pigs’. I have also got hold of the audiobook of ‘The Course of Honour’ – but that’s old news and came about due to a flood...

Sunday April 27 at 10:30 - Panel: “You've Got Fan Mail! Our Honorees Share their favorite fan letters” (signing afterwards)

NB there may be free places on my table for the Saturday Banquet; attendees can sign up, I am told.

Tuesday 29 April 2008 – Toronto, Canada: event at Sleuth of Baker Street (details to follow)

Week of 30 April-2 May 2008 (details to be announced) – Blue Metropolis festival (Metropolis Bleu), Montreal, CANADA: all events at Delta, Centre-Ville Montreal, 777, University Street.

Thursday 1 May – 5.30 pm, "Travels in Time", a panel discussion with Padma Viswanathan and Robert J. Sawyer.
Friday 2 May – 6.00 pm, " Face to Face", a solo spot with readings

Weekend of 3-5 May – For those who can receive the UK channel ITV3, they are having a Brother Cadfael weekend, with several showings of a documentary, to which I was a contributor.

Wednesday 9 July – Fishbourne Roman Palace, talk and signing as part of Chichester Festival

Thursday 24 July – Norwich (time and venue to be confirmed), talk for volunteers at the University of Nottingham dig of the last (mainly) undisturbed greenfield town site of Roman Britain at Caistor. This is under the auspices of Dr Will Bowden (see Photo Album), who has arranged it for his dig volunteers, but members of the public will be welcome and books will be sold.
