News & Events

BBC Radio

The Silver Pigs is getting a repeat on BBC Radio 7 with the four episodes daily starting Monday February 1st 2010, with broadcasts at 13:00, 20:00 and 01:00 (Feb 2nd). From Friday February 5th, Shadows in Bronze takes over those broadcast slots.

New Publications

I am pleased to have received the handsome new US hardback edition of Rebels and Traitors.

Events Programme 2010

Please note: books are usually available for sale at events and I will happily sign new ones. Due to encroaching painful arthritis, particularly in my right hand, I have to limit signing of old editions so please be considerate about this. It is also polite to remember that our hosts at the venue are doing this in order to sell new stock.

 

January – US publication of Rebels and Traitors

February – UK publication of Paperback of Alexandria

Monday 22 February – 5pm, West Greenwich Library, opening after refurbishment: talk and signing (it is hoped that books will be sold)

Wednesday 10 March – 7.30 for Bristol’s Museums, Galleries & Archives Annual Free Winter Talks’ Programme, venue the Powell Lecture Theatre, H.H. Wills Physics Laboratory, Bristol University

Friday 16 April – 1.00pm, Library Concert Hall. Scarborough Literature Festival, in conversation with Paul Doherty, chaired by Peter Guttridge

20-23 May – Crimefest, Marriott Hotel, Bristol. Probable panel on Friday afternoon and a two-way conversation with M C Beaton of Hamish Macbeth fame on Sunday.

Weekend 29-30 May possible visit and event in Rome

3 June – UK publication of Nemesis and Falco: the Official Companion

July (revised date) – UK paperback of Rebels and Traitors

Wednesday 14 July – Birmingham Central Libraries (details tba).
